Talent Acquisition    |  Reports to: Recruitment Manager / Director    |  Srinagar / Pan-India (as assigned)

 

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition across client mandates — sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and successfully placing qualified Candidates within defined timelines. This role is the backbone of client delivery and demands strong interpersonal skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously.

Education Any graduate, (MBA (HR) / PGDM / BBA or equivalent; HR certifications preferred)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▸  Receive and interpret client Mandates; develop sourcing strategies accordingly.

▸  Source Candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, referrals, headhunting, and internal databases.

▸  Conduct telephonic and video-based screening interviews to assess competency, cultural fit, and salary alignment.

▸  Prepare and submit structured Candidate profiles and shortlists to clients within agreed timelines.

▸  Coordinate and schedule interviews between Candidates and client HR/hiring teams.

▸  Manage Candidate communication throughout the selection process; provide timely feedback and status updates.

▸  Negotiate and facilitate offer communication, and manage pre-joining engagement to minimise drop-outs.

▸  Maintain accurate records of all Mandates, Candidate pipelines, and placement data on the internal ATS/CRM.

▸  Build and maintain a talent pipeline across industry verticals for future mandates.

▸  Achieve monthly and quarterly placement targets as set by the Recruitment Manager.

▸  Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality obligations for all Candidate information.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

▸  Number of Successful Placements per month / quarter.

▸  Time-to-fill per Mandate versus SLA timelines.

▸  Candidate offer-to-joining conversion rate.

▸  Candidate retention rate post-placement (30-day benchmark).

▸  Client satisfaction score per engagement.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

▸  Strong sourcing, headhunting, and talent mapping skills.

▸  Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi/Urdu.

▸  Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and job portal dashboards.

▸  Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

▸  High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

▸  Understanding of industry salary benchmarks and role hierarchies.
